Cue 1920s jazz. The modern flapper is here and beautiful. The Marchesa collection was dripping in influence of the 1920s flapper. Fringe was everywhere in this collection. Fringe is a prominent trend for the fall season. Marchesa took the fringe and brought it back to one of its big moments: the 1920s. You can even see the influence of the 20s in the hair style each model was given. It was a short wavy bob. The collection was breath taking. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig were thinking about an opium dream. There is a smoky feel with the colors, fringe and shaping used. The color pallet was mostly white, silver, and black with a few pops of color. The whole collection has a dreamy reminisces of the 1920s. Marchesa stayed true to the brand in creating detailed luxurious dresses.
